Additional Materials

In the ASB@AISTAR, there are 311 entries where the antisense covered the complete differentially spliced region. That means they also cover splice sites that are used to generate both isoform. These entries could in theory act as transcriptional regulators of both isoforms. We classify these as AISTAR class three.

Searching methods and examples:
  • AISTAR ID: Unique identifier in AISTAR (e.g.ASB54)
  • Gene name (sense): Sense gene name from GenBank: gene symbol or gene description (e.g.ZNF513, zinc finger protein 513)
  • Unigene cluster (sense): Unigene cluster identifier for the sense transcript (e.g.hs.440595)
  • Tissue specificity: Information on tissue specificity from ASAP: tissue names (e.g.brain, kidney, placenta, skin)
  • All fields: Search the whole database: anything above.
